Relative Tuning instructions (tuning the guitar 'by ear')

• Pluck the string before you turn the tuning peg, then listen as you turn
it to match the pitch of the fretted note that you just played.

• Listen, compare, listen again, compare again. This takes much
practice and repetition, so have patience and listen closely.

• Tune the open string until the pitch difference 'wobbles' are completely gone.
The open string will then have the same pitch as the fretted one.
